WinExt is an application capable of finding and removing duplicate files to free up space, analyzing resources to help you figure out what is taking up disk space, keeping track of directories for file operations, etc. The program has a clean and intuitive interface, functions optionally ordered, so you can quickly access duplicates, file and directory sizes, batch operations, sync modes, and program settings.
The sizes section displays the sizes of all disks, directories, and files. After scanning all files, the largest ones appear, which gives you the opportunity to analyze them and find out if they are worth keeping.
The last area is filled with information related to the last available files, including name, full path, size, access time, type and date of last modification. If you are not sharing your computer with someone else, this WinExt feature can help you find out what files are being accessed by Windows. Speaking of Windows, its activity can be monitored to see what and where files are created, edited, or deleted.
Some types of operations can be performed in batch mode. For example, you can send items to the Trash, permanently delete them from your computer, and copy them.
The sync feature is useful for moving files between two folders until the contents of the folder are identical. This action can be done once (manually) or repeated (automatically, with a fixed time frequency).
